IRAS (Individual Retirement Accounts)
An Individual Retirement Account is a special tax deferred savings plan authorized by the Federal Government to encourage you to accumulate money for retirement. You may withdraw funds from a Traditional IRA any time after you reach age 59 1/2. Distributions taken prior to age 59 1/2 are subject to early withdrawal penalties.

You can contribute any time, any amount, or none at all.
Annual contributions are not mandatory.
IRA Investments with Southeastern Ohio Credit Union are insured. IRA investments are eligible for insurance by American Share Insurance (ASI) up to $250,000.
