There are definite advantages of having electronic statements rather than paper statements. Having electronic statements is more secure than the mail. E-statements are located within your online banking, not lost in the mail and not in your physical mailbox which could be tampered with. Once you’ve signed up, E-statements are available for previous months. Not only is it super convenient it’s also a great way to help save a tree and the environment. Our staff are here to help get you signed up and walk you through how to access your statements online.
FRAUD ALERT – FAKE TEXTS & CALLS
Many financial institutions are seeing a rise in fraudulent attempts to gain unauthorized access to member accounts. Fraudsters are contacting members by phone calls or text messages and trying to make it appear that they are from your financial institution.
These fraudulent text messages will have a link and when clicking on this link, you are taken to a fake website that appears to be that of your financial institution. Once logging in with your username and password, members are then asked to enter their Social Security number and full debit and/or credit card number. These links are just a way for the fraudsters to obtain your personal information and hack your account.
Southeastern Ohio Credit Union will NEVER text, call, or email you asking for personal or account information. If you receive a text, call or email appearing to be Southeastern Ohio Credit Union, do not do any of the following, no matter how legitimate, convincing, or urgent the request is.

- DO NOT call any numbers provided
- DO NOT enter any personal or account information, i.e. username, password, security code into a website the text takes you to.
